Here's an ad I enjoyed 100%!

 

For the 50th Anniversary of HotWheels, Mattel provided me with the images of the cars, 50th logo, and some of the blue track silhouette. The rest was up to me.

 

As a kid, I would pretend racing these toy cars on the slant at the end of our driveway. Recreating that feeling was more than just a little nostalgic for me, it was a lot of fun.

 

I brainstormed a few simple headlines and created the orange track from scratch. As much as I wanted HotWheels to go for the top design with the wild 'burn-out cloud', they instead went with my other design. They felt the 'track' was just as important as the car, which I completely understand. However, I'm still showing you the top ad because it captures the energy kids feel when fueling their imagination with HotWheels.
