El Paseo is a high-end shopping district located in Southern California owned and operated by Richard Mares – a well-known tailor for fine menswear – and his wife Maggie Mares. The couple travel the world seeking rare men’s garments for their store.

 

We developed this brand from the ground up. The goal was to show the unique, high-quality, and hard-to-find clothing designers – exclusively sold at this store. Clearly a masculine tone, but smart enough to be poetic and stylish.

 

Retouching the provided photography to better reflect the store’s brand was a must. Using the classic type-treatment combination of script and serif fonts played to the versatile selection of apparel they offer.
